Removalists Morley

Morley is an inner city suburb, located just 10kms north east of the city. If you are looking for a suburb with a relatively short commute to the city, Morley might just be it. It is approximately 20 -30 minutes into the city via public transport with frequent bus services running to and from the city.

For all of its proximity to the city, Morely offers fairly good pricing on houses and units. A four bedroom house can be purchased for an average of $583,000 or rented for an average of $530 per week. A three bedroom unit averages a sale price of $456,000 or a rental price of $500 per week.

For those who love shopping, Morley is home to Perth’s second largest shopping centre, Centro Galleria. Morley is also close to a lot of recreational and sporting facilities including the botanic gardens, the WACA and Perth Zoo. The beach is only a 20 minute drive away, and there are a number of restaurants and cafes available covering Asian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Indian and Modern Australian cuisines.

Morley has been a retail and commercial hub for quite awhile. It first began to develop as such in the last 1950’s with the opening of a drive-in and a shopping centre. New housing fuelled the growth of the suburb. It is now the largest commercial area outside of Perth’s CBD and Fremantle and is expected to grow further due to the small amount of opportunity for further residential development in the city.

There are a few schools in and around the Morley area and the suburb us 15km from The University of Western Australia. There are a number of parks in the area allowing plenty of open space to let of some steam or enjoy a day out in the sun. There are also some sporting clubs in nearby suburbs including rugby union, cricket, netball and AFL.
