Removalists Como

With plenty of shopping and dining options, green space and a general friendly atmosphere, Como is a suburb with facilities for families, couples and singles of all ages.

With four schools in the area and only six kilometres from Perth’s CBD it is suitable for those who work or want to work in the CBD without the long commute or the high housing prices. The average house price is $730,000 while the average rent for a house is $480 per week. For a unit, you can expect an average of $405,000 or $450 per week for a rental. The area is in relatively high demand at 2.3 times the demand of the general WA market.

For leisure and holidays, Como is close to the Swan and Canning Rivers, with walking, running and cycling facilities. If you are looking for sporting clubs, you may need to travel outside the suburb. Due to its proximity to the city, there aren’t a lot of sporting fields or facilities in the suburb. Perth Zoo is within a 2.2km walk and there is a golf club, hospital and public transport options within easy reach. The Canning Highway runs through the middle of the suburb offering easy access.

One thing to keep in mind is the proximity to Perth Airport (about 20km away) and current and future flight paths. Depending on the weather Como can experience some aircraft noise day and night.

If you are after somewhere close to the city, with easy commute options, but still quite affordable, Como might be worth having a look at.
