Biddaddaba is located around 50 minutes west of the centre of the Gold Coast and an hour south of Brisbane. There are some primary schools located close by in Canungra, Tamborine Mountain and Beaudesert. There are secondary schools in both Beaudesert and Tamborine. The Scenic Rim regional area is a vibrant arts and farming community with a great spirit and friendly, welcoming locals.

Biddaddaba forms part of the Scenic Rim Regional Council area, which is largely made up of rural properties. There are a large number of National Parks within the local council area, as well as three dams. The local council also provide a number of facilities including swimming pools, libraries and sporting complexes. There is also a golf course at nearby Canungra, and you will also find sporting associations and clubs covering cricket, horse, netball, little athletics, tennis and fishing amongst others. If you like days out walking through National Parks, close by you will find Tamborine National Park, Nerang State Forest, Springbrook and Lamington National Parks.

There is a small amount of public transport available around the area. Buses run from Beaudesert to Brisbane weekdays, but you will need private transport to get around. The closest train stations are at Beenleigh and Nerang (both around 30 minutes away) where you can get trains both north into Brisbane and south to Varsity Lakes.
