Clear Mountain is a semi-rural suburb located 30km north-west of Brisbane’s CBD. Clear Mountain has an interesting mix of nationalities with residents coming from Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Scotland and the Netherlands. The local council offers facilities such as libraries, swimming pools, parks, playgrounds, dog parks, skate parks and BMX facilities across the region. For weekends and holidays Lake Samsonvale (North Pine Dam) is less than a 15km drive and provides picnic and bbq area, playgrounds, fishing and a small number of walking and cycle trails.
