Anyone who loves to shop will enjoy it here! The suburb has two large shopping centres — Capalaba Central and Capalaba Park Shopping Centre which offer its residents access to café/restaurants, pharmacies, salons, travel agencies, retail outlets, and almost all the major supermarkets. These include Target, Woolworths, Coles, Harvey Norman, K-Mart, Bi-Lo, Homeart, and a wide selection of other stores. Capalaba Central also has a multi-cinema movie theatre. The Capalaba Town Centre which opened in 1996 has a library, community centre and Redland Shire Council customer service centre. The shopping precinct is also a great place to catch a bus to and from the City with services departing regularly.
Families in this suburb are serviced by schools such as Coolnwynpin State Primary (Grades Prep-7), Sheldon College, Capalaba State College (Grades Prep-12) and St Lukes Catholic Primary School. And for sports fanatics, Capalaba is home to the Sam Sciacca Sportsfield offering soccer, netball and rugby league facilities as well as a greyhound track (Capalaba Greyhound Racecourse).

You can also reach the nearby areas and famous attractions without any difficulty because the Capalaba Bus Interchange is a stone’s throw away from the shopping complex. With proximity to schools, major shopping complexes, private and public hospitals, plus direct access to Moreton Bay and perfectly positioned close yet just far enough away from the vibrancy of the City, Capalaba is a suitable choice for your next home.
