Bayside and Peninsula District
Made up of a medley of old and new where traditional values blend with modern lifestyles is an area in Victoria called Bayside and the Peninsula District. With streets specialising in antique shops and contemporary fashion, lively bars and cafes this is an area ideally suited to both the outgoing person, the young family or the retiree.
The areas diversity is a reflection of the people that live there with houses ranging from beachside mansions, Victorian cottages, and stately manors to contemporary townhouses. The area has meticulously manicured parks and gardens and there is no shortage of historic churches, hotels and recreational facilities. The Bayside and Peninsula District boasts some of the best grammar schools in Victoria both; government and private, as well as some of the best beaches in Australia.
There is something for everyone in the Bayside and Peninsula area. There are skate parks for the kids, golf courses and for the avid fisherman there are multiple boat ramps available.
There is a produce trail with wineries and olive groves, there are B&B’s nestled into the country side.
You can have all this and only be 20 minutes from the Central Business District of Melbourne.
So how much does it cost to live here? That is a good question and finding a median price for this area is difficult, and with the extensive research we have put in we have found that houses range from the mid to low three hundred thousand to the millions. Making this area affordable for everyone.
