The Caloundra Airport is also home to the Queensland Air Museum whose mission is to collect and preserve all aspects of Queensland and Australian aviation history. It currently has one of the largest collections of historical aircraft in Queensland, as well as a large collection of aircraft engines, equipment, photos and books.
