Removalists Casuarina

With golden beaches, this northern NSW beachside suburb is perfect for those who love hitting the salt water after work and on the weekends. Popular with windsurfers, surfers, body borders, fishermen and walkers, Casuarina offers something for everyone. Located 20 minutes south of Tweed Heads and 45 minutes south of Surfers Paradise, Casuarina is a great suburb for those who don’t mind a commute to the Gold Coast for work.

Casuarina is a relatively family based suburb; however housing prices are what you should expect from a beachside location. A four bedroom house attracts an average sale price of $660,000 or an average rental price of $620 per week. A three bedroom unit sells for an average of $380,000 and rents for an average of $440 per week. While housing prices are higher than the average NSW price, unit prices are lower.

The suburb doesn’t have any schools of its own; however there are a number of primary and secondary schools in the nearby suburbs of Kingscliff, Duranbah, Cudgen and Pottsville. There is also a TAFE campus in Kingscliff and there is also a Tweed and Bilinga campus of the Southern Cross University. There are a number of recreation facilities in and around the area including gyms, swimming pools, tennis courts, surf clubs, table tennis, rugby, yoga and a number of other sports.

For those who get a lot of family visitors, Casuarina is a perfect spot to live. Not only for the beachside lifestyle, but there is a large number of holiday accommodation in nearby Kingscliff, Tweed and Hastings Point.

The Tweed area is a hive of activity and you will never be short of things to do – from the beaches through to the rainforests and the cafes to the picnic spots, you will always be able to find somewhere to go and do, including activities such as river cruises, spas and family fun centres.

If living by the beach is your thing, than you’d be missing out by not checking out Casuarina.
