Removalists Carool

With such little housing options available, you need to be lucky to snap up a property in this little piece of NSW paradise. With properties that have views over the Tweed, Coolangatta, Surfers Paradise and Mt Warning, it is little wonder that properties don’t come on the market very often. The average property price for Carool is $620,800 and you can expect properties both with house and land, as well as just parcels of land.

Carool sits just over the NSW border from Queensland, and 5km west of Bilambil. It is a great little town for those who want the best of both worlds, being less than 20km from the beaches of Tweed Heads and 50km from the closest national park. With a large number of national parks nearby, as well as proximity to a number of beaches, this is a great place for those who love to get out and enjoy what life has to throw at them.

Carool is an interesting suburb in terms of the population. In the 2011 census there were 459 residents in the town. While 72.5% of these residents were born in Australia, the rest were born in countries such as New Zealand, Scotland, England, Germany and Barbados; the main languages being spoken were that of English, German and Polish. The town is made up of an older population with around 65% of the population made up of those over 55 years old.

Carool is part of the Tweed Valley and falls under the Tweed Valley Council. The council offer a largenumber of facilities to residents within the council area including three pools, a large number of library facilities (run jointly with the Richmond Shire Council), art galleries, skate parks, picnic areas, cycle paths and walking paths. Being so close to the Queensland border, residents also have the option to work either within NSW or QLD, opening up the opportunities available.

With all the benefits the Tweed has to offer, Carool is a town for someone who wants a bit of the beach, a bit of the country and loves the benefit of being able to work in either NSW or Queensland quite easily.
