Removalists Cedarton

Cedarton is a small Sunshine Coast hinterland town sitting between Beerburrum State Forest to the east and Bellthorpe State Forest to the west. The town is separated by Kilcoy-Beerwah road and sits 20km to the west of Beerwah. In 2013 there was only one property sold in the town, and since 1991 there has only been 25 properties sold. Houses don’t become available for sale very often, and if you find one, you can expect to pay an average of $850,000.

If you are moving to the area and looking at schools, you will need to travel to the nearby towns of Peachester, Beerwah, Woodford or the Glasshouse Mountains for schools. As Cedarton is a fairly rural area, you will also be able to find horse riding and equine schools quite readily in the surrounding towns.

If you love getting out and exploring the National Parks on the weekend, Cedarton is a great place to do so. Mt Beerwah is a 30km drive; it is the highest of the 10 volcanic plugs in the Glasshouse Mountains region and while the walking track is closed, you can still view the mountain from various areas around the region. There are two walks available in the Glasshouse Mountains, Mount Tibrogargan and Ngunngun. These walks are a level five difficultly. If you prefer the beach however, you can reach Caloundra in around 45 minutes and Bribie Island in just over an hour.

For those who commute to the city, there are train stations available at nearby Glasshouse Mountains which runs express into Brisbane on most trips. Alternatively, it is a 90km drive into the city. It is a 60km drive to Maroochydore for those who work on the Sunshine Coast.

For the most part Cedarton is a rural hinterland town that offers large amounts of space to enjoy the outdoors and living away from the major tourist areas.
